Community Market Stall Eligibility

The Community Market Stall area has been created to provide an affordable opportunity for small to medium businesses, independent operators and community-based enterprises to participate in the 2026 NSW Annual Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout.

Priority will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned and operated businesses and businesses that provide products or services that support and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Community Market Stall applications are suitable for:

  • Small to medium independently owned businesses
  • Sole traders and family-owned businesses
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned and operated businesses
  • Artists, designers, makers and merchandise businesses
  • Small community-based enterprises
  • Other small businesses offering appropriate products or services to the Knockout community

The Community Market Stall category is not intended for large organisations, government agencies, universities, major not-for-profit organisations or corporate businesses seeking to promote their organisation, programs or services.

These organisations are encouraged to participate through the 2026 Koori Knockout Partnership Package or another appropriate sponsorship/partnership opportunity.

Newcastle Yowies reserves the right to assess each Expression of Interest and determine the most appropriate participation category. Submission of an EOI does not guarantee acceptance or allocation of a Community Market Stall.
